Disco at The Hilton Hotel in Watford, Hertfordshire

At the weekend I played the Hilton in Watford, Hertfordshire . This is an excellent facility for weddings, birthdays or corporate events. I have put together a review from my perspective of the facilities at The Hilton in Watford and the services I can provide for this venue.

Location- Watford, Hertfordshire
Travel Time –  30 minutes travel time.
Setup time – 1hr.
Space for full setup? – Yes enough room for Disco service level 3 in a variety of Suites
Smoke Machine – No
Bubble Machine – Yes
Hotel Lighting – On dimmer switches can be controlled fully
Room turn around time from dinner to Disco –Usually 45 minutes to an hour which is the time I can setup.
Noise / Sound Limiter – No
Layout – Bar in same room to Disco, Tables around edge of dance floor
Staff – Happy, Helpful and professional.

The disco can be setup early required to return later for a small additional fee.

The Conservatory at the Luton Hoo Walled Garden

I was invited to the Preview event to introduce The Conservatory at Luton Hoo estate in Luton, Bedfordshire. Unfortunately I am unable to attend but I have sent my details to the events organiser and hope to play there soon. If you have a wedding or other event organised at this brand new venue I would be happy to quote and can offer competitive rates as this is not too far away from me.  This venue is separate from the Luton Hoo Hotel, but is on the Luton Hoo estate.

Wedding at The Sculpture Gallry In Woburn

The Castle in Wellingborough, Northants

I have played at The Castle in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire a few times this year for weddings. I will also be providing their Christmas parties which are a dinner and disco format. The venue has 2 rooms, the main theatre room and a smaller function room. The main room can accommodate a large amount of people I would guess 200 maybe more.

Location- Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Travel Time –  60 minutes travel time.
Setup time – 1hr.
Space for full setup? – Yes enough room for Disco service level 3 in both rooms
Smoke Machine – Yes can be used smoke detectors can be switched off.
Bubble Machine – Yes
Venue Lighting – Can be controlled fully
Room turn around time from dinner to Disco –Usually 45 minutes to an hour which is the time I can setup.
Noise / Sound Limiter – No
Layout – Bar in adjacent room to Disco, Tables around edge of dance floor with disco at one end.
Staff – Happy, Helpful and professional. The staff have been there many years a good team.

The disco does not always need to be setup early due to the turn around time in the main hall. Overall I enjoyed playing this wedding venue and is one of the largest main rooms in the area I have seen.

Another Disco Booking For Tewin Bury Farm

I do enjoy playing at Tewin Bury Farm and as my disco bookings fill up for next summer and the height of the wedding season it looks like I’ll be working there quite a bit more. I have taken another deposit today to play in the Tythe Barn at Tewin Bury which is a great wedding venue.

Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire

In August this year I provided disco services for a wedding at Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire. This is a really pleasent facility for weddings. disco The setup was quite straight forward with access that didn’t affect the guests as it was the opposite end to the bar and where they would vacate the room during turn around. I have put together a review of the facilities at Fawsley Hall in Northants and the services I can provide for this sophisticated wedding venue.

Location- Fawsley, Northamptonshire
Travel Time –  60 minutes travel time.
Setup time – 1hr.
Space for full setup? – Yes enough room for Disco service level 3
Smoke Machine – wasn’t requested for this disco so unsure.
Bubble Machine – Yes
Hotel Lighting – Can be controlled although it was on a light setting
Room turn around time from dinner to Disco –Usually 45 minutes to an hour which is the time I can setup.
Noise / Sound Limiter – No
Layout – Bar in adjacent room to Disco, Tables around edge of dance floor with disco at one end.
Staff – Happy, Helpful and professional. The wedding planner is well organised.

The disco does not need to be setup early due to the turn around time in the main hall. Overall I enjoyed playing this wedding venue and would like to do so again. One of the more sophisticated venues in the area.

Hanbury Manor in Ware, Hertfordshire

In December I will be again playing Hanbury Manor in Ware, Hertfordshire . This is an excellent facility for weddings. It is a 5 star luxery Marriott hotel. Over recent years I have played this venue many times providing disco services in Poles Hall and the Garden Suite. I have put together a review from my perspective of the facilities at Hanbury Manor in Ware and the services I can provide for this special wedding venue.

Location- Ware, Hertfordshire
Travel Time –  40 minutes travel time.
Setup time – 1hr.
Space for full setup? – Yes enough room for Disco service level 3 in Poles Hall an Garden Suite
Smoke Machine – Yes in the Garden Suite
Bubble Machine – Yes
Hotel Lighting – On dimmer switches can be controlled
Room turn around time from dinner to Disco –Usually 45 minutes to an hour which is the time I can setup.
Noise / Sound Limiter – No
Layout – Bar in adjacent room to Disco, Tables around edge of dance floor in Poles Hall. In the Garden Suite there is the dance floor and bar only.
Staff – Happy, Helpful and professional. The wedding planner is very organised.

The disco does not need to be setup early due to the turn around time in Poles Hall, top table is usually on the stage therefore the disco cannot be setup until this is cleared. In the Garden Suite access can be gained while guests are eating in the adjacent room.

Today I have quoted for disco hire at Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire . Over the years I have played this venue many times in the various barns. I have put together a review from my perspective of the facilities at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel and the services I can provide for this ideal wedding venue.

Location- Nr. Welwyn, Hertfordshire
Travel Time –  40 minutes travel time.
Setup time – 1hr.
Space for full setup? – Yes enough room for Disco service level 3
Smoke Machine – Yes
Bubble Machine – Yes
Hotel Lighting – On dimmer switches can be controlled
Room turn around time from dinner to Disco –Usually 45 minutes to an hour which is the time I can setup.
Noise / Sound Limiter – No
Layout – Bar in adjacent room to Disco, Tables around edge of dance floor,
Staff – Happy, Helpful and professional.

The party is always a success at this venue, the disco does not need to be setup early due to the turn around time. The position of the disco is usually at the end of a barn or room which works best in my opinion.

The venue has nice lawned gardens immediately outside the main function rooms with a small river/stream.
