Soundcloud ACSUPREME

Saturday, April 26th, 2014

You can view my profile on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/adam-cook-17 and have a listen or download some of my mixes. I would like to mention that this is not typically the music I play at functions and I have a much broader range of music. I guess this is some of the music I enjoy mixing when away from the office so to speak. However if nothing else it should demonstrate that I have the equipment and ability to construct a good mix and that goes for all genres of music I play. Maybe I will record and upload my next disco set to give a taster of what I play out also.

Having said all that I think you can’t go wrong with a bit of deep house music now and again so have a listen and see what you think. Hit like on Soundcloud if you enjoy!

Wedding Disco – First Dances

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

A common question from clients when booking a Disco for their wedding is;

Do you have any suggestions for our first dance?

I would say that  the first dance music is usually quite personal and can vary greatly with no right or wrong answer. If the song means something to you and your partner then go for it. Some people do a routine which works well but others stay more traditional with a slow dance. I will update the slow dances that people have chosen below in no particular order as some suggestions.

  • Al Green – Let’s Stay Together
  • Boys II Men – Colour of Love
  • Rod Stewart – Have I Told You Lately
  • Barry White – My First, My Last, My Everything
  • Andy Williams – Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You
  • Duncan James – Amazed
  • K-Ci and JoJo – All My Life
  • Billy Joel – Just The Way You Are
  • Daniel Bedingfield – If You’re Not The One
