Irogen Toby Robot – Review

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

I recently ordered a Toby Robot from Irogen. Originally it was through Living Social but after waiting 6 weeks for delivery I found out that Irogen could not honour the agreement so Living Social refunded my money. I had called Irogen and they gave a different excuse but said I could have one direct at the same price. I bought it even though it was more expensive once adding the postage costs!

I have since been waiting 5 weeks more since my second order for delivery. I have been quite fair in giving the company a chance to respond, they told me 2 weeks ago the goods were stuck with customs but they do not keep me up to date regularly and have only offered me more expensive alternative products.

I hope the goods will arrive and I can change my opinion of Irogen, at this stage though I would not recommend Irogen to friends.

Updates and disco reviews

Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

Hi,

Things have been a bit hectic recently as we are well into wedding disco season, although I would say that is almost all year around now!

Anyway I have updated some reviews I have had on http://www.acsupreme.co.uk/Disco_Feedback.htm

I have been out and about a fair bit, some familiar venues and some new which is nice. I played Moor Park Mansion house which was a nice venue and from what I could see a very well organised wedding. I’ll pop a review on after this. I also played Horwood House which I have played before many years ago but I was in a different room this time. Also I provided a disco at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club for the Denham Ball, which looked like a lovely golf course, wish I’d have had time to play. The venue itself is a lovely setting I will post a full review. Another golf club I provided disco services for was Abbey Hill in Milton Keynes. The BBQ was huge and the choice of food really good.

Right I’ll crack on with the reviews of the venues to help anyone picking a venue in the coming months.

Bar Mitzvah in Stanmore, Middlesex

Monday, February 14th, 2011

At the weekend I DJ’d at a Bar Mitzvah in Stanmore. The discowent very well and some of the speeches were very sweet. They offered the children lots of glow products which went down really well. See the picture below! Below is a copy of the email I received the next day.

Disco Feedback for Hertford Castle

Monday, November 15th, 2010

I recently played Hertford Castle in Hertford for a 30th Birthday party. The room hired was quite small so we setup the service level 1 disco. As you will see the client was very happy with the service provided. http://www.acsupreme.co.uk/Disco_Feedback.htm

The Inn at Woburn – Disco

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

At the weekend I did a gig at the Inn at Woburn. The venue had organised a dance floor for the couple which had small LED lights and twinkled. It looked very nice and I would recommend it. Not sure on costs but worth an ask.

Aldenham Golf Club nr Watford, Hertfordshire

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

I’m happy to say I’ll be playing Aldenham Golf Club later this week and look forward to posting a review of the facilities. Unfurtunately when I say playing I mean DJ’ing and not getting out on the course, which I seem to have less time to do these days!
